I try to get my line art clean(ish) before inking but inevitably I end up doing a lot of editing at the inking phase through white paint and cutting and pasting.
Hi guys! I missed an update for the first time in a while last week. m(_ _)m
My ‘real life’ has been keeping me busy! I started a new job delivering groceries this week. It involved a lot of questionably legal parking while sprinting up four flights of stairs carrying too many bags.
That aside, i hope you enjoy this weeks comic “Stats.” I had a lot of fun drawing it and playing around with the filters and effects in Krita.
Here’s a little about my process for the comic “Money Bags”. First I sketched from a few reference photos for sitting crosslegged and a trash bag full of money (I searched “trash bag full of leaves.”) Next I got my sketches clear-ish and taped them on the template, (I use a 6″x6″ square for my template.) Then I light boxed that shit, traced it out, and colored it. I have a decent set of Copic markers I love for coloring. Some of the comics I ink and color digitally and others are a combination.
